To increase the choice of students in the allied health field, the Punjab Medical Faculty (PMF) has unveiled seven new allied health diploma programmes that will require two years of training.
The new courses include subjects from emergency and cardiac care to audiology and nuclear technology/therapy.
Seven New Diploma Programmes
The programmes introduced by PMF are:

Institutes Can Apply to Offer the Courses
The PMF has invited public and private allied health institutes across Punjab to apply for approval to start the newly introduced diploma programmes.
Institutes interested in offering these courses have been given August 28, 2026 as the deadline for registration.
Before approval, institutes will be required to go through the relevant inspection process.
Inspection Fee Set at Rs110,610
The inspection fee for institutes applying to offer the new diploma programmes has been set at Rs110,610.
Institutions planning to apply should complete the required registration process before the deadline and follow the requirements issued by PMF.
